چکیده

Abstract Background Sufficient endometrial preparation with or without progesterone supplementation is crucial in artificial cycles frozen embryo transfer (FET). We aimed to study the effect of intramuscular on day (ET) cycles. Methods A clinical cohort involved women undergoing FET artificially prepared endometrium. Serum levels were assessed ET. Accordingly, we recruited 177 more than 9.2 ng/ml group 1, and other less 2. Women 1 received only 400 mg vaginal twice-daily after ET, while 2 additional supplementation. The chemical, clinical, ongoing pregnancy rates, as well loss rate, both groups. Results Expectantly, groups showed a significant difference regarding serum level ET (13.43 ± 4.65 vs 4.62 2.77, P = 574). However, 2, no chemical rate (68.93% 63.84% 0.311), (61.02% 58.76% 0.664), (56.50% 53.11% 0.522), (7.41% 9.62% 0.564). Conclusions Intramuscular decreased could improve outcomes Trial registration It was first registered at ClinicalTrials.gov 8/4/2021 number NCT04837768.

The effect of luteal phase progesterone supplementation on natural frozen-thawed embryo transfer cycles

OBJECTIVE To evaluate the effect of progesterone supplementation during the luteal phase on pregnancy outcome in natural frozen-thawed embyo transfer (FTET) cycles. METHODS In this retrospective cohort study, 228 consecutive patients who underwent FTET cycles between January 2009 and September 2012 were included. One hundred forty-five patients received luteal progesterone support (P group) b...

Effect of Progesterone Supplementation on Natural Frozen-Thawed Embryo Transfer Cycles: A Randomized Controlled Trial

BACKGROUND The transfer of cryopreserved embryos can be timed with ovulation in a natural cycle or after artificially preparing the endometrium with exogenous hormones. Progesterone is essential for the secretory transformation of the endometrium that permits implantation as well as maintenance of early pregnancy. The purpose of this study is to assess the effect of luteal phase supplementation...

Frozen-thawed embryo transfer cycles

In order to reduce the chance of multiple pregnancy during in-vitro fertilisation (IVF)– embryo transfer treatment, there is an increasing trend towards transferring a lower number of embryos. Surplus good-quality embryos are then transferred in frozen-thawed embryo transfer (FET) cycles. The first pregnancy after FET was reported in 1983.1 It has been estimated that in IVF programmes in which ...
